Doing a cleanse of any kind seems to be the trendy thing to do these days. Do they really work though? Since I knew it was inexpensive to try, I decided to go out and do the Total Wellness Cleanse after reading a lot of positive reviews.
After going through it, I am now ready to give a positive Total Wellness Cleanse review of my own. This detox program really seemed to get me jump started to living a healthier lifestyle. First, let me give you a quick overview, and then I’ll jump into my personal experience.
The creator of the Total Wellness Cleanse is Yuri Elkaim, a nutritionist who spent years putting this together. He breaks things down into two phases, one lasting 14 days and one 16. The first phase in the Total Wellness Cleanse will get all the junk out of the body that has been accumulated. In return, it will teach your body that you no longer need the bad habits it is addicted to (sugar, alcohol, tobacco, etc.)
The second phase is simply call the maintenance phase. In this you will basically continue the lessons you learned in phase one, eating a lot more natural foods and not going back to your bad food and drug choices. This is a type of Holistic wellness, and you are supposed to feel full of energy and revitalized after the entire experience.
Learn more about the phases on their official website.
So the big question is, what did I gain from it. Above is basically what they claim, but can you actually feel it or is it a scam? I’ve done about four cleanses in my life. None took this long, so I was skeptical. However, what I experienced was all positive. It wasn’t too hard to do the Total Wellness Cleanse after some tough times at the beginning (I consumed a lot of sugar before). What I found though is since this is 30 days, and not say 1-3 days, you get used to maintaining the lifestyle. You don’t go off track in those first 30 days, it is unlikely you will go off track afterwards. You can call it a diet if you want, but it really just does a good job of pressing the reset button and building yourself up a lot healthier.
I recommend the Total Wellness Cleanse to anyone who wants to just start over and begin eating healthy. The initial cleanse gets you a good base, but you must stick to the maintenance program to really see results. I feel a lot better after finishing mine, and because of that I am mentally and physically stronger.
